THE Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has purchased a total of 3,000 work boots and shoes from Enyimba Automated Shoe Factory in Aba, Abia State.
This move is coming in respect to President Muhammadu Buhari’s Executive Order O5, which called on all Ministries, Departments, and Government Agencies to prioritize locally produced items and materialis.
It will be recalled that the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) had previously taken delivery, as the federal government remains a major customer of the Abia shoe factory to support job creation and entrepreneurship in the country.
