Apple Vision Pro gets password reset with VisionOS 1.0.3 update. With various bug fixes and improvements, Apple’s visionOS 1.0.3 software update for the mixed reality headset is now available.
The update lets users reset Apple Vision Pro passwords if they forget them. Users who lost their passwords had to visit the Apple Store or send it to AppleCare to use the device again. The software update comes a few weeks after the introduction of the visionOS 1.0.2 version.
Apple issued the visionOS 1.0.3 update for its Vision Pro headset on Monday (February 12). The current version gives the possibility to reset the Vision Pro headset if the passcode established on the device has been forgotten. It also includes bug fixes and enhancements. With the updated build, customers will be able to restore the headset using their Apple ID password. Previously, users who lost their passcodes were forced to take their Apple Vision Pros to an Apple Store or mail them to AppleCare customer assistance to get them working again.
The new visionOS update can be installed by heading to Settings app>Settings>General> Software Update.

Since the Vision Pro went on sale, Apple has only released the visionOS 1.0.3 software as a visionOS update. Early on February 2, before the mixed reality headset made its way into US retailers, Apple released visionOS 1.0.2.
In the US, the starting price for an Apple Vision Pro with 256GB of storage is $3,499, or around Rs. 2,90,000. It is presently available for purchase on the company’s website and at US Apple Store locations. Two micro OLED displays with a refresh rate of up to 100 Hz are featured in the spatial computer. It is powered by a new R1 chip and Apple’s M2 CPU. The headset is said to provide up to two hours of battery life on a single charge and enables iris-based biometric authentication.
