At Nsit Ubium Local Government Area, in Ikot Ekpene Udo, the remains of the late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Patience Umo, have arrived for her funeral.
Alongside the procession were Governor Umo Eno and family members.
Her Excellency Pastor Patience Umo Eno’s funeral ceremony featured a number of luminaries, including former President Jonathan and his wife.
Friday was designated as a work-free day by the Akwa Ibom State Government in remembrance of the fallen.

Her Excellency was a devout woman who had a great deal of empathy for the weaker members of society.
Her passing will leave a huge hole in the hearts of the First Family as well as the entire State, as she was a model mother who touched many lives with her kindness.
