No doubt it has really been a tough season for the English team Manchester United. They have had their own fair share of fans lashing out on them especially when they failed to finish as one of the top four teams which could have given them an automatic pass into the champions’ league next season.
But like the old saying goes there is no point crying over spilled milk and on this note the team has already started strategizing on a way forward which the arrival of former Ajax head coach Eric Ten Hag.
Ten Hag really want Frenkie De Jong as part of his rebuilding plan. Currently Manchester united are in open talks with Barcelona for De Jong. Sources have it that the tea m is in pursuit of the midfielder as requested by Ten Hag.
The price tag on the midfielder as placed by Barcelona is 85 million Euros.
There is still no official bid on the table but Manchester united is prepared to push again for the player as they are aware of Barcelona’s issues with financial fair play.
Although Frenkie de Jong is still not convinced about leaving Barcelona this summer as he still has dreams of playing the champions league football next season.
