Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party has condemned the influence of some bureaucratic bottlenecks which has made the securing of PVCs dogged, especially in the south-east.
As Nigerians try to ensure the security of their destinies, they have decided to all take things into their hands and align with the massive campaign from officials, individual, groups and celebrities to get their pVCs.
However, the process has proven to be quite tasking and cumbersome for some people in some parts of the country, but Mr. Obi, speaking referred to the difficulty faced more in the south-east and has called on the officials of INEC to do something about the process so that Nigerians can have the power to exercise their voting rights.
In his tweet Mr. Peter Obi said “Information reaching me indicate that voter registration across Nigeria, more so in the South East, is dogged by inertia & bureaucratic bottlenecks. I respectfully call on @inecnigeria to facilitate speedy registration of Nigerians to enable them exercise their voting rights.-PO”
A Nigerian has tweeted to this effect to lay his complain and bring the actions of the INEC officials to limelight.
