The late Secretary-General of the Organisation Of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Muhammad Barkindo, has been laid to rest in his hometown of Yola in Adamawa State.
Muhammad Barkindo died on Tuesday, just hours after meeting President Muhammadu Buhai who had described him as a worthy ambassador of the country.
Final prayers were held for the late Secretary-General of OPEC at the Yola Central mosque.
