According to a report, Coolio, the rapper who rose to fame around the world thanks to the big hit Gangster’s Paradise, has passed away.
The 59-year-old beloved artist went to a friend’s house in Los Angeles on Wednesday to visit and never came back, according to the story.
The companion reportedly went to check on Coolio and saw him on the floor unconscious.
He was pronounced dead at the site by emergency personnel.

Although the exact cause of Coolio’s passing is still unknown, his management indicated that the paramedics think he passed away from cardiac arrest.
With the number one song “Gangster’s Paradise” in 1995, Coolio—whose real name was Artis Ivey Junior—became a household name. Coolio first gained fame in Los Angeles’ rap scene in the 1980s.
His mainstream career, which includes three additional top 40 songs and two songs on the “Space Jam” soundtrack, was propelled by the success of that single and the album of the same name.
In addition, Coolio used his reputation to acquire scores of film roles, including one in George Clooney’s 1997 film “Batman & Robin.”
