Pinkett whose husband after Will Smith, slapped Chris Rock for making fun of her at this year’s Oscars also revealed that they first met in high school when they were younger and that their affections for one another led to a “disgusting kiss.”

Pinkett and Tupac were never a recognized couple, but because of their mutual respect for one another, there has always been a rumor that they were buddies.
Following a kissing test, the actress claimed in a now-deleted interview that they were only meant to be platonic friends.
The Girl’s Trip actress was interviewed by Howard Stern, who went into detail about their relationship’s history.
Pinkett acknowledged that they first met in high school and that the late rapper always had a magnetic personality despite owning only two sets of jeans and two sweaters.
“I met Tupac at the Baltimore School of the Arts. We went to high school together,” Pinkett said.
Stern brought up the fact that late Afeni Shakur, mother of Tupac, was a Black Panther and questioned whether Juice actor really the thug we all assumed he was.
Pinkett responded, “He was a revolutionary without a revolution if that makes any kind of sense? That kind of energy just transferred into a whole other thing.”
Tupac composed poetry for his cherished pal in the open as well. In honor of his birthday, Pinkett shared a few of them on her Instagram.
Stern questioned the mother of two about whether or not the poems provided proof that Tupac once harbored romantic feelings for her. She disputed this, claiming there was no spark between them.
“Now being older, I have more of an understanding of what that was between us,” she said.
“When you have two young people who have very strong feelings but there is no physical chemistry between us at all. And it wasn’t even just for me. It was him too.”
Pinkett went on to say that she even conducted a test to determine whether their love would have been romantic in nature.
“There was a time when I was like, just kiss me…let’s just see how this goes. And when I tell you it had to be the most disgusting kiss for us both,” she laughed.
“The only way I can put it is the Higher Power just did not want that because I feel as though if Pac and I had any kind of sexual chemistry, we might have killed each other because we were both so passionate and we loved deeply,” Pinkett Smith said.
A disagreement about the direction Tupac was heading at the moment ultimately led to the two breaking up once their careers in Hollywood started to take off.
Although they were no longer friends before Tupac’s passing, Pinkett claimed she felt bad about their inability to reconnect, proving that their love never faded.
“I don’t think I was guilty as much as I felt just sadness for not having the opportunity to tell him I love him, but I know he knew that,” she said teary-eyed.
