THE Nigerian Football Federation has on Thursday confirmed an international friendly match between World Cup-bound Costa Rica and the Super Eagles of Nigeria, which is billed to take place in November.
Super Eagles were initially billed to play Guinea Bissau in a double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in the FIFA international break.
However, with the qualifiers postponed until March 2023 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) last month, the NFF are now fixing top-notch friendly games for the team to help them build their squad.
In a tweet by the NFF on their official Twitter page, the match between the two countries is scheduled to be played at Estadio Nacional in San Jose on November 10.
“A date in San Jose for the @NGSuperEagles on 10.11.2022. #SoarSuperEagles,” the tweet read.
