As at yesterday, there were only speculations about the 3-year-old Ifeanyi, but, verified reports this morning claim that the young boy is dead.
According to verified reports, Ifeanyi was found drowning in the swimming pool at Davido’s house and was quickly taken to the hospital but efforts to revive him were futile.
Sympathizing with Davido and Chioma over the death of their son, several musicians and celebrities took to their social media pages to express their sympathy.
Comedians Ayo Makun, Lasisi Elenu and Daddy Freeze were among some of the celebrities who sympathized with the couple.
In a post on his Instagram page on Tuesday morning, Makun said “The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad.”
Lasisi Elenu also posted, “Father heal your children’s heart from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord.”
Also, Daddy Freeze, who was on a live session on Tuesday on Instagram said that “When the person you love is someone involved it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me I will not be live tonight.”
However, Davido and Chioma are yet to release an official report on the death of their son.
Ifeanyi David Adeleke was born in 2019 to Davido and his partner Chioma.
