Elon Musk, the new owner and CEO of Twitter, has a disdain for people who constantly ask him if former U.S. President Donald Trump will return to the platform.
Musk tweeted via his verified Twitter account on Monday“If I had a dollar for every time someone asks me if Trump is coming back on this platform, Twitter would be minting money.”
Recall that Musk took control of Twitter and fired the majority of its top executives three days ago.
Since Musk seized control of the bird app, numerous Twitter users and media outlets have anticipated and forecasted the return of the former U.S. president to the platform.

Following the Capitol Hill riots in January 2021, Trump was accused of encouraging violence through his tweets and labeled a “risk.” His Twitter account was permanently suspended.
Twitter Inc. stated at the time, “After a thorough analysis of recent tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and their context — specifically how they are being perceived and understood on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the danger of further inciting violence.”
Following Musk’s takeover of the social media network, Trump said on his own social media platform, ‘Truth Social,’ “I am very happy that Twitter is now in sane hands, and will no longer be run by radical left lunatics and maniacs that truly hate our country.”
Elon Musk announced in a tweet on Friday that he would implement a “council” that will decide whether users who have been banned from the platform will be allowed to return, which provoked comments on the social media network.
