An explosion in Istanbul killed six people, including a small child and her father, and led to the arrest of an alleged bomber.
Earlier CCTV footage depicted a female suspect leaving while holding a red rose minutes before an explosion injured at least 81 people in a crowded commercial area on Sunday afternoon.
Images depicted horrific scenes of the dead sprawled throughout Istiklal Avenue, the main shopping area in central Istanbul near Taksim Square.
Earlier, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu of Turkey stated that a suspect was in custody.

“The person who dropped the bomb was detained by our General Directorate of Security,” he told TRT Haber.
Mr. Soylu stated that he believed the bomb to be the work of the Kurdish separatist organization PKK and pledged a harsh response.
He stated, “Those who caused us this pain can experience more and more pain.”
There has been no claim of responsibility for the explosion.
Earlier, Turkey’s Vice-President Fuat Oktay stated, “We believe it to be a terrorist incident committed by a female attacker who detonated the explosives.”
CCTV images allegedly showed a woman sitting on a seat for 45 minutes and leaving a bag behind just prior to the explosion.
