Qatar University has announced that the hotel room of Argentina captain Lionel Messi will be transformed into a little museum to honor Argentina’s victory at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The Argentinian team’s accommodations during the competition were documented in a series of images published by Qatar University. Lionel Messi resided in B201 for the competition; he eventually shared it with Sergio Aguero.
Messi’s room at the university residence will also no longer be open to visitors, but all of the items the Paris Saint-Germain player left behind will still be kept there in their full splendor for students and foreign tourists.

Qatar University posted the images to Facebook along with the announcement that Lionel Messi’s room the Argentina national team player at the Qatar World Cup will become a mini museum.
To match the color of the Argentinian team’s uniform, the entire region has been decorated in a blue and white theme. The institution has also hung pictures of jerseys with the names of numerous players written over them all over the rooms.
According to Hitmi al Hitmi, director of communications and public relations at Qatar University,”The room of Argentina national team player Lionel Messi will remain unchanged and will remain available only for visitors and not for residence,” as quoted by Goal.
Messi’s possessions will serve as a legacy for kids and future generations and serve as a reminder of the remarkable accomplishments he made during the World Cup.
On December 18, in one of the most exciting finals in tournament history, Argentina defeated France on penalties to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The title win fulfilled Messi’s lifelong ambition to lift the FIFA World Cup Trophy, which had eluded him up until this point in his career. Messi became the first athlete to ever win the FIFA Golden Ball award more than once after being chosen as the tournament’s Player of the Year.
