Technology corporation, Microsoft, has cut off its ethics and society team that supervised the innovation of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
According to Platformer, Microsoft’s decision of laying off its ethics and society team is due to the recent layoffs which have in turn affected 10,000 staff of the company.
The recent layoff of the AI team at Microsoft has left the company with no team to oversee its AI services.
The company in a statement said “Microsoft is committed to developing AI products and experiences safely and responsibly, and does so by investing in people, processes, and partnerships that prioritize this.”
