… Many feared dead, while injured workers rushed to the hospital
A four storey building in Iman Street, Uyo, the capital city of Akwa Ibom has collapsed with many people feared dead while others are still trapped inside.
Swagenews reports that during the collapse of the four decker building, workers were still at their post and those injured have been hurried to the hospital.
Residents leaving close to the collapsed building noted that the building was built with non-standard tools, while calling on the Nigerian Society of Engineers and the Uyo City Capital Development (UCCD) to be on check for building projects to avoid circumstances of this sort.
