Nigerians have at this point wanted nothing more than to uncover the faces behind the masks of those who perpetuated the inhumane massacre at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo state.
As of Thursday the attackers have reportedly been arrested.
There is a trending video which shows a crowd of people protesting within the palace of Oba Ajibade Ogunoye, the Olowo of Owo.
According to report, one of them was heard saying “they want to take them (the suspects) to Akure, the youths are angry.”
The event on Sunday left the people of Owo with broken hearts, some dead victims and some injured. Those who managed to survive are in pains and they are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
The death toll recorded from the attack has hit 40.
The police had confirmed that some of the attackers had disguised themselves and blended in in as church members waiting to strike.
The police have also confirmed that they used AK47 rifles to fire at the worshippers.
Also, three unexploded improvised explosives (IEDs) were recovered at the scene of the attack.
