Portugal hitman and former Manchester United star, Christiano Ronaldo has been handed a two-match ban and a fine of £50,000 by the football association (FA) in England.
This ban comes in just a day after Manchester United announced the termination of contract with the Portuguese star on a mutual agreement after his (Ronaldo) explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
It will be recalled that sometime in April, the former United star had smashed a phone belonging to an Everton fan after United had lost to Everton, and the case had been under investigation since then.
However, the FA have finalized their investigations and have decided to give him two-match ban and a fine of £50,000.
With Ronaldo out of Manchester United, this means that he will be on suspension for two matches if he joins any Premier League team.
