The ball which was used by former Argentina’s footballer and legend, Diego Maradona to score two of his most famous goals dubbed “Hand of God” in the history of football is set for auction.
The ball, which is set for auction was used during the 1986 World Cup quarterfinals between Argentina and England and it is estimated for a fee of £2.5m to £3m.
The match ball is being sold by Ali Bin Nasser, the Tunisian referee who officiated the match and allowed the goal scored by Maradona during the game.
“This ball is part of football history – it is the right time to be sharing it with the world,” Ali Bin Nasser said.
