On October 4 at the “Made by Google” event, the Google Pixel 8 series, including the standard Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, will make its formal debut. The tech giant has released brief teases of upcoming products, giving viewers a glimpse at some of their design cues.
The next Pixel series of smartphones had previously been hinted at in previous leaks and reports as having several important specs. Most recently, fresh images that give a glimpse into the handsets’ potential designs and color variations have leaked online. For the handsets, they recommend three color schemes. The overall look of last year’s Pixel 7 series appears to have undergone little changes at first sight, according to readers.
The renderings of the next Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro have been released by MySmartPrice. The vanilla Pixel 8 will be offered in grey, obsidian black, and peony rose colors, according to the rumor. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro will purportedly come in the colors black obsidian, porcelain, and sky blue.

The renders display the Pixel 8 series’ rear appearance, which has a recognizable camera array in visor style. The Pixel 8 Pro is shown carrying a triple camera configuration situated in the horizontal camera island, while the vanilla variant is spotted carrying dual rear cameras.
The camera bar also has an LED flash and a microphone. They resemble the design of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro almost exactly. While the Pro model is available in Hazel, Obsidian, and Snow finishes, the former is offered in Lemongrass, Obsidian, and Snow colorways.
On October 4 in New York, Google will introduce the Pixel smartphone at 10:00 a.m. local time (7:30 p.m. IST). The smartphones will officially be available for pre-order on October 5 through Flipkart in India.
The Pixel 8 series of smartphones is anticipated to come with 120Hz refresh rate displays with Android 14 out of the box. Tensor G3 SoC is anticipated to power them. The 4,950mAh battery for the Pixel 8 Pro is anticipated to offer 27W wired fast charging. A 4,485mAh battery with compatibility for 12W wireless charging and 24W wired charging might power the Pixel 8 in the interim.
