Usman Alkali Baba, Inspector General of Police, has assigned former Force spokesperson Frank Mba and six other Commissioners of Police to various Commands and Formations across the nation.
According to a statement released on Friday by the Force Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Odejobe, Mba has been transferred to the Abuja headquarters of the Border Patrol Force.
Other newly assigned CPs include Sadiq Abubakar to the FCT Abuja, Arungwa Udo to the Department of Finance and Administration, Force Intelligence Bureau, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Bardaru Lawal to General Investigations, Force Criminal Investigations Department Annex, Kaduna, Suleiman Yusuf to Admin, Research and Planning, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Ebong E. Ebong to Admin DFA, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and Bab.

The transfer follows the recent completion of Senior Executive Course 44 at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), in which senior officials of the Nigeria Police Force were significant participants.
The IGP has instructed the newly assigned officers to hit the ground running in terms of combatting crime, public collaboration, and public safety.
In order for the new Police commanding officers to carry out their duties to the fullest extent, he also requested the public’s support and cooperation.
