The man who carried an elderly woman to a polling location to participate in the general elections on Tuesday has continued to receive praise from Kenyan voters.
The heroic act gained praise even after the voting was over at 5 PM (Kenyan time) today, according to a story on KTN, a Kenyan media outlet that withheld the identity of the man and the elderly mother.
The vivacious man was seen kindly escorting the elderly person to the Kibwayi Primary School polling place in Kisian, Kisumu County.
According to KTN, the man carried the granny around in his arms like a baby and was determined to see her cast her ballot.
Several Kenyans who responded to the post believe the man deserves some recognition.
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), the electoral umpire in Kenya, has started counting the votes for the four presidential candidates, William Ruto, Raila Odinga, David Mwaure, and George Wajackoyah.
