Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has offered Frenchman Ousmane Dembele a move to Anfield.
Two reports coming from Spain suggest Liverpool are set to agree a deal to sign him, but they will have to pay over €12 million per year (€230,000/week).
Liverpool, who are on a verge of losing Sadio Mane this summer to Bayern Munich needs a replacement to ensure that the Reds continue in their winning strides on all fronts heading into next season.
El Nacional doubled down on the story, reporting that Dembele has offers from Liverpool, Bayern Munich, PSG and Chelsea. The report states the French forward is in “the dream situation” as he’s got his pick of four of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Barcelona offers the Frenchman a lower salary than the €12m he was already earning and so remaining at Camp Nou “seems to be completely ruled out”.
Liverpool are among the four clubs to have made an offer to Dembele and they have all reportedly offered the winger more than he is earning currently.
This would mean Liverpool are prepared to pay over €12million per year (€230,000/week) to sign Dembele.
Chelsea are also in the race to get the French star as negotiations are ongoing between the two teams.
Ousmane Dembele contract at Barcelona expires on June 30 as he is set to leave Camo Nou.
