The interim coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Austin Eguavoen has assured Nigerians of a good result ahead of their clash with the Amavubi of Rwanda tomorrow in Rwanda.
The coach disclosed this in a press briefing on Monday upon the team’s arrival in Kigali.
“We have quality players who can play in different styles of football, different systems, different formations. So whatever formation or system Rwanda comes up with tomorrow, we have the personnel to deal with it,” he said.
He also added “Our country is full of expectations. It doesn’t matter who we play. They expect us to win. We’ve come here, like I said, and he also alluded to that. We play people with respect, but we’ll get results.”
The Super Eagles won their first group stage match with a thumping 3-0 against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic on Saturday.The game between Rwanda and Nigeria comes up tomorrow at Amahoro Stadium by 2PM WAT.
