On Friday, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Gusau, will inaugurate the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), as appointed by the Federal Government’s Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare.
In a press release announcing the composition of the IMC, the Youth, and Sports Development Ministry stated that the move was “in line with the 10-year Football Masterplan as approved by President Muhammadu Buhari to revitalize the Domestic League” and that the IMC would “oversee the affairs of the League until a proper professional League Board is statutorily put in place.”

Friday at 11 a.m., the inauguration will take place at the NFF Conference Room within the NFF Secretariat in Abuja.
