THE Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has invited former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, to commission a flyover project in the state.
The former Edo State governor arrived Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State on Tuesday night and was received at the airport by Governor Wike and his deputy, Ipalibo Harry-Banigo other government officials from the state.
The flyover project, which is the eight flyover to be completed since Wike became governor is located on Ada George road, just adjacent to the private residence of the Wike in Rumueprikom in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, the hometown of Wike.
It will be recalled that governor Wike has scheduled Peter Obi and other former governors from the opposition parties to commission some projects for two weeks in the state.
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) has been scheduled to commission the 9th flyover which is located at the popular Ikoku junction in the state.
Also, President Muhammadu Buhari has been scheduled by Governor Wike to commission the newly constructed Port Harcourt Campus of the Nigeria Law School on Friday.
The Presidential Candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has also been billed to commission another project in Rivers State on Monday, 21st November.
