The Labour Party presidential candidate Mr Peter Obi, has debunked news going around which says he has responded to the viral message about him from Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka which states that he is a stringy and cursed man.
This announcement was made by Mr. Peter Obi’s media aide Valentine Obienyem, through a circular he released on Thursday to journalists.
The circular reads: “Our attention has been drawn to a statement credited to Mr Peter Obi as his reply to Fr. Ejike Mbaka.
“We wish to state for the record that Mr Peter Obi did not and is not planning to issue any reply. We advise that any medium trying to publish such an unsigned letter should clarify its authenticity from Mr Obi’s Media Office.”
These are the words of the clergy man “A stingy man, that cannot give people his money, with this hunger ravaging the land, and you are saying he is the one you want. You want to die of hunger? Are you people insane? Where is the Holy Spirit?
“I did not say he is a bad man; I said he is a stingy man. A hungry man wants someone that is generous; the man has so much money, but he is ‘I, me, myself’. But that money will not be useful to him. I am very happy now that I have spoken out. That apology is a poisonous curse against Peter Obi.”
He also declared that the former governor of Anambra State was under a curse, adding that except he came to apologise to him, he would never be Nigeria’s president.
Mr. Peter Obi is currently on a three days comparison study in Egypt, where he is studying the power, educational and economic sectors of the nation.
