THE presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), Peter Gregory Obi today visited the former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital ahead of the commencement of campaign for the 2023 general elections.
Peter Obi posted photos of his meeting with Obasanjo on his verified Twitter page after the meeting.
This is the second time the LP presidential candidate visited Obasanjo in his Abeokuta residence.
Peter Obi wrote in his tweet after the meeting: “I deeply appreciate the opportunity to hold extensive discussions with President Olusegun Obasanjo earlier today on arising national interest matters. As usual, the exchanges were forthright and animated. – PO”
