Wednesday, November 23, 2022, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, and his running partner, Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, will take their campaign to Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State in southwest Nigeria.
This was stated in a statement issued by the Chief Spokesperson of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, in Abuja on Saturday.
The campaign gathering will take place at Adamasingba Stadium (Lekan Salami Stadium) in Ibadan, according to the statement.
All party leaders and candidates for all levels of the Labour Party in the Southwest are expected to be present.

Tanko stated, “The Labour Party Candidate, Peter Obi, and his vice, Dr. Datti Baba-Ahmed were in PortHacourt on Thursday to honor an invitation by the Rivers State Governor, Neeson Wike to commission one of the bridges constructed by the state government.
“The ceremony turned into a campaign rally of some sort for the Labour candidate as his supporters, the Obidients mobilized themselves to welcome him in grand style.
“The visit was also a turning point in the Obi/Datti campaign following the pledge by the Rivers State Governor to assist him with all the needed logistics whenever he was ready to campaign in the state.“
