President Buhari who is currently in Portugal to receive a national honour has met with some Nigerians based in Portugal’s capital, Lisbon.
President Muhammadu Buhari, who met with some selected numbers of Nigerians who are living in Lisbon used the opportunity to remind them of the dedication of his administration to ensure that Nigerian citizens are diaspora are supported and protected.
Mr. Buhari received a presentation from Nigerian footballers, Saviour Godwin and Chima Akas who are plying their professional football trade in Lisbon.
Amongst them are their agent, Adelaja Abraham and the CEO of Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri, Nigeria’s ambassador to Portugal, Amb. Alex Kefas and the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare.
President Buhari is expected to be back to the country on 4th July.
