Cristiano Ronaldo, a striker for Manchester United, and his agent Jorge Mendes arrived at their Carrington training facility on Tuesday. They will talk about Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United.
Ronaldo, who has been absent from the majority of the team’s preseason matches in Australia and Thailand, is anticipated to speak with manager Erik ten Hag.
He allegedly missed the preseason tour owing to personal obligations.
The 37-year-old has expressed his intention to leave the team this summer in exchange for a competitive offer.
Ronaldo scored 24 goals in his final season, but it wasn’t enough for United, who placed sixth in the 2021–2022 Premier League, to qualify for the Champions League.
Earlier this month, Ten Hag declared Ronaldo as “not for sale”.
“I am looking forward to working with him. We are planning with Cristiano in mind this season and that’s it and I look forward to working with him,” he said.
United will kick off their premier league campaign at home against Brighton on August 7 after their pre-season match against Atletico Madrid in Norway and Rayo Vallecano at home.
