According to reports, Samsung is working on the next smartphone in its Galaxy FE lineup after the company dumped the Galaxy S22 FE. nevertheless, the company is reportedly planning to launch the Galaxy S23 FE which features an upgraded camera over its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE, which was released in 2022.
The alleged smartphone has been spotted online, with some of its key specifications revealed. The phone is expected to be powered by an Exynos 2200 SoC developed in-house. However, the company has yet to issue an official statement. Samsung is expected to announce the handset’s release date in the coming weeks.
According to Galaxy Club, the rumored Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will have a main camera similar to the Galaxy S23, which was released earlier this year. Reports have it that the smartphone will include a 50-megapixel main camera. Furthermore, the report suggests that the phone could be released later this year.

Aside from these, a previous report revealed some important details. The Galaxy S23 FE smartphone is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of this year, according to the report. The “Fan Edition” phone is also expected to be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 SoC.
Other details that have surfaced online include the Galaxy S23 FE’s two RAM variants — 6GB and 8GB — as well as storage configurations of 128GB and 256GB. The device may also include a 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. However, the company has not yet confirmed any of these specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G with triple rear cameras and a 120Hz AMOLED display was released in India in early 2022. The Exynos 2100 SoC is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM to power the phone. A 12-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 wide-angle lens leads the phone’s triple rear camera setup. On the back, there is also a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter. It has a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens on the front for selfies.
