According to the report, Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy S24 earlier than usual because it views the flagship series as its “savior” product (which is Korean for “savior”) following less-than-expected results in its semiconductor business and in sales of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which were unveiled at a Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26 in Seoul.
Rumor has it that the decision was made in an effort to stay competitive with Apple, the company’s top rival, who just revealed the iPhone 15 series in September.

Notably, the South Korean tech giant debuted its Galaxy S22 flagship models on February 10, 2022, the year before it unveiled the Galaxy S23 series on February 17. With the introduction of the Galaxy S24 series, the company might be hoping to give its competitors in the industry a more formidable competition.
According to the source, the Galaxy S23 FE model will also be launched in South Korea on December 1 for KRW 800,000. Additionally, it is said that this will attempt to lessen the impact of the Galaxy S23 series‘ slow sales, which were attributed to the nation’s overall economic downturn. It is reported that the corporation anticipates increased sales with the mid-range Fan Edition model.
