The Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Scholarship Board, Abdulrahman Lekki, has passed away.
This was made known in a statement by the Lagos state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on X.com on Wednesday.
He wrote, “Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of a dear friend and brother, Abdulrahman Lekki #FollowLekki , who served with dedication as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Scholarship Board. His unwavering commitment to empowering countless young minds through education and his deep compassion for the community will be profoundly missed.
Abdulrahman was more than just a coworker; he was a buddy, a source of strength, and a beacon of light who made everyone around him feel warm, humble, and compassionate. The lives he impacted and the numerous others he encouraged to realize their full potential will carry on his legacy.
We send our deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May Allah bless those who are grieving for him eternal serenity and solace.
