TITI Abubakar, the wife of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has become the topic of gist after a viral video of her asking Nigerians to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) surfaced on the internet.
In the viral video, Titi Abubakar was seen speaking against APC for its failure to fulfill the promises made to Nigerians.
However, she made a mistake and asked Nigerians to vote for APC in the forthcoming general elections.
In her words: “By the 25th of February, everybody should come, if you have not collected your PVC, go and collect your PVC… we should vote APC; APC promised to do so many things for the country but we can see ourselves now the way we are.”
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Festus Keyamo, while reacting to the viral video defended the wife of PDP’s presidential candidate by saying that it was a mistake, while adding that “…In all honesty, this is obviously a slip of tongue, but we hold the view that it is unreasonable to make a mountain out of such molehills, especially when you quickly correct yourself!”
